1.1 In these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”), “the Company”, “we”, “us” or “our” means Primo Padel Club Ltd (registered in England and Wales with company number 16329286, registered office at Riseley House, 4 New Road, Rochester, ME1 1BD) which operates the Club and its facilities.
1.2 “The Club” means Primo Padel Club at Beckton Retail Park, Unit 6, Alpine Way, Beckton, E6 6LA (and any future locations under the Primo brand).
1.3 “Member” means any person holding a valid membership with the Company.
1.4 “Terms” mean these membership terms and conditions.
1.5 Membership is conditional on payment of applicable fees and agreement to these Terms (including any house rules displayed at the Club or on our website).
1.6 We may update, amend, or add to these Terms from time to time. Changes will be notified via email, our website, or in-Club notices, and continued use of the Club after such changes constitutes acceptance.
1.7 These Terms promote fair, safe, and enjoyable use of the Club for all Members and guests.
1.8 We do not discriminate on grounds of race, gender, marital/civil partnership status, age (subject to minimums), disability, religion or belief, colour, national origin, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.
1.9 These Terms comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (as amended), the Unfair Terms provisions, and upcoming subscription rules under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 (DMCCA) (phased implementation ongoing into 2026, including clearer pre-contract info, renewal reminders, and straightforward exits).
2.1 Members must be at least 16 years old (under 18s require parental/guardian consent and supervision where required). Junior memberships (if offered) have separate rules.
2.2 Membership fees are payable monthly in advance by Direct Debit from a UK bank account (or other agreed method). Annual prepay options may be available with full payment upfront.
2.3 Monthly subscriptions start on the join date and renew automatically on the same date each month (or next working day if weekend/holiday).
2.4 You must keep your contact details up to date. Communications are deemed received 5 days after posting or on the send date for email/SMS.
2.5 Fees are reviewed annually; we will give at least one full calendar month’s notice of increases via email/post. You may cancel within the notice period if you object to the change.
2.6 We may refuse any membership application at our discretion.
2.7 A photograph is required for membership verification/access; entry may be refused without one.
2.8 Membership is personal, non-transferable, and non-refundable (except as agreed in writing or required by law).
2.9 Late/unpaid fees may result in suspended access until paid. After 30 days overdue, full payment may be demanded; after a further 15 days, membership may be terminated with debt recovery pursued.
2.10 On termination, no refunds apply for prepaid periods. Re-joining requires clearing arrears and may incur admin/joining fees.
2.11 Membership changes (e.g., upgrade/downgrade) must be requested by the 24th of the month for the following month.
2.12 Auto-renewal: Memberships renew automatically unless cancelled. We will provide renewal reminders and clear exit info in line with emerging DMCCA subscription rules (expected full effect Spring 2026).
3.1 Cards/app access issued on joining/ID verification.
3.2 Non-transferable; misuse may lead to suspension/termination.
3.3 Replacement cards may incur a fee. Cards/access may be withheld for unpaid fees.
4.1 Opening hours may vary; we may close for maintenance, events, holidays, or unforeseen reasons (notice where possible).
4.2 Use of facilities (padel courts, gym, Reform & Wellness Studio, recovery suite including cryo chamber/ice baths/sauna, physio treatments, bar & lounge) is at your own risk.
4.3 We may refuse entry or require appropriate attire/footwear (e.g., non-marking shoes on courts).
4.4 Recovery facilities (cryo, ice baths, sauna) require staff guidance; medical advice recommended for certain conditions (e.g., pregnancy, heart issues). Health declarations may be required.
4.5 No smoking, alcohol/drugs, or use under influence. No glass in activity areas.
4.6 Photography/filming restricted in certain areas; phone use permitted outside wet zones.
4.7 Behaviour: No abusive/loud conduct; tidy equipment use and cleaning required.
4.8 Bookings: 24-hour cancellation notice required; late cancels may incur fees. Unused coaching/reformer/physio sessions non-refundable.
4.9 Activities undertaken at your risk; report accidents immediately to staff.
5.1 We accept no liability for loss/damage to personal property (use lockers at own risk).
5.2 We are not liable for death/personal injury except where caused by our proven negligence or as required by law.
5.3 You warrant you are fit to use facilities; obtain medical clearance if needed. Do not use if contagious, with open wounds, or unfit.
6.1 You confirm fitness for exercise/recovery services.
6.2 Familiarise with emergency procedures.
6.3 We operate CCTV in public areas (excluding changing rooms) for security/safety; footage stored securely for up to 2 months (thermal imaging may apply in recovery zones).
7.1 See our separate Privacy Notice (available on our website or at the Club) for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.
8.1 To cancel, provide written notice (via member portal, email to info@primopadelclub.co.uk, or form) by the 1st of the month for end of the following month (one full calendar month’s notice required).
8.2 No refunds on fees paid; subscription must be active to cancel.
8.3 During notice period, access continues and fees payable.
8.4 We may suspend/terminate for breach of Terms (e.g., non-payment, misconduct) without refund.
8.5 Serious illness/injury: We follow CMA guidance — reasonable cancellation may be allowed on evidence (e.g., medical note); contact us to discuss.
8.6 Re-joining after termination: Arrears cleared; new joining fee may apply.
9.1 Any credit redeemable for services/merchandise (not subscriptions/cash). Valid 12 months; forfeited on termination. Non-transferable.
10.1 Raise issues with staff or email info@primopadelclub.co.uk. We aim to resolve promptly.
11.1 We may assign these Terms. Communications via email/SMS valid.
11.2 Facilities to be vacated 20 minutes before close for cleaning/showering. Occasional closures for maintenance.
11.3 Governing law: English law; exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
11.4 If any provision invalid, others remain enforceable.
1. By entering any Primo Padel Club competition (“Competition”), you agree to these rules.
2. Our decision on all matters is final.
3. Open to UK residents aged 18+.
4. Entries must be true/complete; one per person.
5. No purchase necessary (free entry route available if paid option exists).
6. Prize as stated (e.g., free membership); non-transferable, no cash alternative.
7. Winners selected randomly/fairly; contacted post-draw. Claim within 7 days or alternate selected.
8. Winners may be required for promotion (consent required).
9. Data handled per Privacy Notice; no third-party disclosure without consent.
10. Governed by English law.
